Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem were pictured at Daytona Beach’s Rolex 24 filming a Formula 1 movie.

Filming scenes at Rolex 24 helps Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem’s unnamed Formula 1 racing film look as authentic as possible.

At Florida’s Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, January 27, the actors were observed at work during the 62nd Rolex 24. Filming has been ongoing in the region for a few weeks, with sequences shot at a nearby café and laundromat among the others. Over the weekend, more scenes will be shot for the race. The International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), according to its president John Doonan, is delighted to have Pitt and Bardem as guests.

“We were ecstatic that our property, Daytona International Speedway, the World Center of Racing, and IMSA could be part of that when we were contacted by the movie team about the possibility of filming here,” Doonan stated during a news conference on Saturday. The fact that the people creating the movie want it to be completely real is a credit to them. Two nights before, they ran till two in the morning. While the race is being filmed, neither Pitt nor Bardem, 54, will be driving. The No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3, with its vivid blue paint scheme and green highlights, will be driven by professional race car drivers Adam Adelson, Elliott Skeer, Jan Heylen, and Fred Makowiecki. They are representing Wright Motorsports in the Rolex 24.
