Erin Cahill is Delighted to be part of the ensemble cast of the Hollmark film ‘Christmas On Cherry Lane’

For those who have been missing This Is Us as much as we have, we have the perfect Christmas film. Christmas On Cherry Lane, which peeks into the lives of three families in three distinct decades all during the Christmas season, is one of the 40 new movies Hallmark has presented us this season in its Countdown to Christmas. Catherine Bell, Jonathan Bennett, John Brotherton, Erin Cahill, James Denton, and Vincent Rodriguez III make up the explosive ensemble group.

Cahill told Southern Living that she “loved being in ensemble pieces” when we chatted with her recently about this very unique undertaking. It’s been such a blessing for me to work on ensemble TV shows. And I think the best method to tell a tale is through films and television series like this one. You may discover that, as a viewer, you identify with various characters for various reasons. Therefore, I believe that another wonderful aspect about ensemble works is that they allow you to tell a wide variety of stories, which appeals to a wider audience due to the greater diversity of story telling.

In her plot, Cahill plays a young couple who are getting ready to celebrate the holiday in their brand-new home as they approach becoming parents for the first time, opposite John Brotherton. Their expectations of a peaceful first Christmas in their new house are dashed when relatives unexpectedly show up. We’re not going to reveal which of the three decades her plot takes place in this film, but Cahill stated, “I will just say our storyline in particular feels so universal.” It might occur at any point in time. because getting to play in the wardrobe was such a delight. Yes, she will be showing off her growing tummy, but no, she is not actually pregnant.
