Halle Bailey Responds to Allegations That She “Lied” About Not Sharing Her Pregnancy With Son Halo
Since having her son Halo, Halle Bailey has developed strong maternal instincts, and she will not tolerate accusations that she misrepresented her pregnancy. Bailey, 23, referenced a previous backlash about having a “pregnancy nose” symptom in a message via X on Sunday, January 28. “I never lied or even said anything about it honey, making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went,” Bailey wrote.

Despite many rumors, Bailey and her partner, DDG (actual name Darryl Dwayne Grandberry Jr.), never made their first baby announcement public. A source exclusively told Us Weekly earlier in January that “Halle told friends it was to protect their baby and relationship from scrutiny, but it was all very strange to those around them.” Bailey and DDG, 26, have been sharing pictures of their baby boy and old prenatal photos on a regular basis since Halo’s arrival.
She responded in like in a follow-up X post on Sunday, saying, “If u don’t care why are u responding then sweetheart just don’t care by living ur best life and not commenting on mine.” She was reacting to a social media user who had advised her to “leave us out of the conversation” since they didn’t care.
