I have a waiting list because these holiday recipes i gave away last year were so good
Extra batches are specifically requested by my family and friends. Food is often the first thing on Southerners’ minds during the holidays. Not only for hostess presents, holiday parties, potlucks with friends, and every little gift required or event scheduled in between, but also for the numerous family dinners that take place between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day.
Food is a great way to express our love and gratitude, so as soon as I had a kitchen of my own and a rudimentary understanding of baking, I was determined to send my friends and family handmade treats to brighten their homes for the holidays. I adored the concept that they would always have a delectable nibble to satisfy their want for “a little something sweet,” whether it was during shopping outings, tree-decorating, or after supper when there was no dessert in the house.
For this reason, I’ve already tried a ton of various holiday dessert recipes, all of which have been well appreciated and consumed. Among my family and friends, Saltine Cracker Toffee was the biggest hit for a few years. It was formally replaced with a different recipe for Christmas treats last year, and I was amazed at how much of an impact something so basic could have.
