In response to claims that Beyoncé lightened her skin for the “Renaissance” premiere, Tina Knowles has commented.

The singer was accused by social media users of lightening her complexion after she showed up for the premiere of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” In the face of claims that her daughter Beyoncé bleached her skin, Tina Knowles is standing up for her.
The fashion designer responded to criticism of her daughter’s attendance at the “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé” premiere by sharing a post on her Instagram page.

Beyoncé made an appearance on a “chrome carpet” on November 25 before the premiere of her movie. She wore silver clothing and had platinum blonde hair. The singer was accused of whitening her complexion by social media users shortly after pictures from the event started to circulate.

At the beginning of her post, Knowles wrote, “Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white.”
The post opened with a still image of the singer attending the silver screen premiere of “Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.” The post included a collection of Beyoncé’s videos. The image is then overlayed with comments from internet users, some of which read, “She’s white now?” and “She whitens her skin!”
The singer’s mother continued her statement by summarizing that visitors were urged to dress in silver, and that silver was the motif of her daughter’s debut.
