Kelly Ripa has already selected her funeral gown, so Mark Consuelos won’t pick anything too outrageous.
Kelly Ripa want to ease her husband Mark Consuelos’s funeral in the future.
During their joint talk program Live With Kelly and Mark on Friday, January 12, Ripa, 53, expressed her dread that her husband might have to eulogize her. “First of all, there will be a smorgasbord of everything I detest at the burial. There will be glasses of milk, chicken wings, and deviled eggs. 52-year-old Consuelos added his voice to caution his spouse not to make fun of his memorial choices. “Hey, watch out because I’m going to have to dress you as well,” he jokingly said. “You’re going to get into something crazy, so you better be nice now!”
Consuelos’ threats didn’t concern Ripa because she already knew the costume she wanted to be buried in. It’s a black dress by Dolce & Gabbana. It has ten years on it. Ripa exclaimed, “It’s elegant, gorgeous, black, and adorable.” She also mentioned that the dress, which has a name on it, is currently hanging up in her closet. The talk show presenter previously gave an explanation of why she chose to choose her own burial gown on an episode of Live in March 2016.
“The only reason I thought about what I wanted to be buried in is because I once passed out … after I had my first child,” she remembered, referring her son Michael. “I was unconscious when I passed out, and my spouse dialed 911.” And in that moment [before the paramedics arrived], he dressed me. I remember pulling the sheet over my head while they were placing me on a stretcher because I didn’t want others to see me like this.
