Kelly Yazdi and Zac Brown, who got married earlier this year, are divorcing: ‘Best wishes to each other.’
Frontman of the Zac Brown Band and singer-songwriter Zac Brown, together with his spouse Kelly Yazdi, have reportedly announced their separation following their early-year marriage. “We are divorcing each other. We still hold one other in high regard. A spokeswoman for Brown delivered a statement to USA TODAY on Friday that read, “We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together.” “As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time.” The news was initially reported by TMZ.
The statement was made one month after TMZ revealed that, based on a Georgia marriage license the publication was able to secure, the pair had secretly wed in August. In December 2022, reports surfaced from People magazine and Billboard stating that Brown, 45, and Yazdi, 32, got engaged in Hawaii last year.
According to her IMDb website, Yazdi is a model, actor, and stuntwoman who has starred in the 2015 film “The Martial Arts Kid,” as well as “Hawaii Five-0”. The singer of “Chicken Fried” was previously wed to jewelry designer Shelly Brown, and the two of them have five kids together. After 12 years of marriage, they declared their divorce in 2018. While on the From the Fire tour this year, Brown and his bandmates have had a busy schedule. They also performed as part of the Jimmy Buffett tribute act at the 57th annual Country Music Association Awards last month. A schedule of live performances, including a tour with Kenny Chesney, is also scheduled for the three-time Grammy Award winning trio in 2024.
