Selena Gomez considers her evolutionary body and declares she will “Never look like” her 2J13 self once more
Selena Gomez has no desire to contrast her present physical appearance with her previous one. Gomez, 31, wrote, “Today, I realized I will never look like this again,” as the caption for a 2013 bikini picture posted on her Instagram Story on January 22. Gomez was seen in the photo enjoying a day by the sea while sporting a black pair of sunglasses and a bikini with a zebra print and gold chain details. She uploaded a more recent swimwear picture on Instagram Stories after the first one, which appeared to have been taken during her trip to Mexico for the New Year’s celebration with Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham in January 2023.
“Even if I’m not flawless, I love who I am. She captioned the second photo, which showed her scaling a boat’s side while wearing a black bikini bottom and a white bikini top, saying, “Sometimes I forget it’s OK to be me.”
With her open remarks on wellness and health throughout the years, Gomez has become as an advocate for body positivity. She disclosed in 2019 that fluctuations in her weight could be attributed to her health. “I deal with a renal disease, high blood pressure. Following a lupus diagnosis in 2014, Gomez received a kidney transplant three years later, using her close friend Francia Raísa as the donor. The Only Murders in the Building actress said she “holds a lot of water weight” as a result of her lupus medicine in a February 2023 TikTok Live.
