Since Beyoncé’s Renaissance film premiered, the biggest star has been watching.

The stars were out and dressed to the nines for the premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé in Los Angeles earlier this month—and now again, for the London premiere.

From Winnie Harlow’s dramatic black puff-sleeve top to Kelly Rowland’s metallic silver mermaid dress and Blake Lively’s metallic silver mini, each guest has stepped out onto the chrome carpet in their take on the “cozy opulence” dress code.

Queen Bey orchestrated a tense tone for the much-anticipated evening on the West Coast. On invites to the premiere, the singer merely provided the date and the dress code, giving away very little else. Only 24 hours prior to the occasion, her celebrity guests were unaware of the screening’s location—the Samuel Goldwyn Theater.

Beyoncé chose to make her snug, sumptuous debut on Donatella Versace’s Instagram rather than make her grand entrance there, which only served to heighten the mystery. The woman of the hour dazzled in an all-metal silver ensemble consisting of an open-toed heel, opera gloves, and a handmade Versace gown. She even became platinum blonde for a final surprise. The London event was held on Thursday, November 30, while the Los Angeles premiere was on Saturday, November 25.

A documentary on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour, which began on May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden, and concluded on October 1 in Kansas City, Missouri, was screened for Beyoncé’s fashionable crowd, who also enjoyed popcorn provided in Renaissance-style metal buckets and matched glasses of water. This Friday, December 1, is the official release date for the film in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
