Stephanie Ann Canto, the widow of actor Adan Canto, Breaks Her Silence Following His Death: “Forever My Treasure”

Tuesday, January 9th, Stephanie posted a quote from Matthew 6:19–21 on Instagram: Save your treasures in heaven, where neither rust nor moth can ruin anything and where thieves cannot break in and take anything. Don’t store valuables on earth, where thieves can break in and take things. Your heart will be where your treasure is, after all. In addition, she wrote, “Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon,” with an emoji of a shattered heart.

Monday, January 8, marked Adan’s passing following a quiet fight with appendiceal cancer. His age was 42. Few people really understood the depth of Dan’s spirit. His representatives at UTA, Entertainment360, and Viewpoint told Deadline on Tuesday that “those who saw it were changed forever.” “So many people will miss him terribly.” Adan is survived by his two children, Roman Alder, age three, and Eve Josephine, age 21 months, in addition to Stephanie. Adan was grinning broadly in his most recent image from June 2022, where he was posing on a picnic blanket with his family. Cheers to Father’s Day! I consider myself fortunate to have mine,” he posted on Instagram.

Adan began his professional life as a singer-songwriter in Mexico before moving to the United States. He went on to star in other TV shows and motion pictures, including as the drama series The Following on Fox in 2013, the movie X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014, and the television series Blood & Oil in 2015.
