Terry Dubrow, the star of “Botched,” stopped using Ozempic after realizing “The Joy of Eating.”
Ozempic was shot by Dr. Terry Dubrow, but he was deprived of “the joy of eating.”
“I gave it a shot. It was fantastic, in my opinion. I didn’t really have a lot of weight to drop,” 65-year-old Dubrow said to Page Six. However, I was curious to know what it was like to not have diabetes and only have 10 to 15 pounds to lose, so I decided to give it a try because so many of my patients were using it.
Although he continues to support the medicine, he didn’t think the benefits outweighed the adverse effects. The Botched star had “low-grade nausea” in addition to losing appetite. “You know what, I kind of want to regain my appetite,” I thought to myself. The holidays are approaching, and I want to have fun,” he said.
Married to Heather Dubrow of The Real Housewives of Orange County, the plastic surgeon observed that Ozempic “really took… all the joy of eating away.” “You go on vacation, maybe you don’t exercise, and you eat too much,” Dubrow continued. I wanted to be able to eat again, so it was kind of like, “Well, I want to go on a food vacation.” Dubrow wanted to eat during the holidays, but he also needed to stop taking semaglutide injections in order to have a Christmas cocktail.
He declared, “You can’t drink on it.” “People with pancreatitis are being admitted to hospitals, so you need to use alcohol with extreme caution.”
