The semi-final of Dancing with the Stars has an unexpected ending: Check out who made it to the final.
On Tuesday, November 28, the top five Dancing With the Stars couples competed in the semifinals, and the event had an unexpected conclusion.
Every pair performed two dances on stage, one in the ballroom style and the other in the Latin style. Star of Vanderpump Rules Ariana Madix and her partner Pasha Pashkov began the evening with a jive to Bruno Mars’ “Runaway Baby.”
Following the performance, Madix, 38, was told by judge Carrie Ann Inaba, “You have everything you need to win this competition.”
Nevertheless, Inaba, 55, added that the Bravolebrity didn’t appear to be giving her arm motions her all, suggesting that she was battling an injury. Madix revealed on her Instagram Story earlier this month that she had sustained “a back injury on top of [a] foot injury” while practicing for DWTS.
Not just Madix neglected his bodily comfort on Tuesday’s episode. Jason Mraz and partner Daniella Karagach were practicing their Viennese waltz when he started to feel queasy, but he persisted.
Before his first dance, Mraz, 46, admitted in a confessional, “I cannot drop down on the leaderboard, so I’m gonna deliver hopefully a flawless performance that people will remember for a long time.”
Mraz’s Viennese Waltz won him praise from the judges, but his second dance of the evening truly captured their attention.
“Perfection isn’t always the goal; I’m searching for magic.” Inaba got up from her chair to give the singer a hug and exclaimed, “That was magic.” “That’s the way to make it to the finals right there,” interjected Derek Hough.
