This year’s Christmas card features a new family photo that Kate Middleton and Prince William revealed.
Living in their family’s black-and-white snapshot, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have all grown up. William and Kate Middleton are wishing you a happy Christmas season!
The 41-year-old Prince and Princess of Wales unveiled their yearly Christmas card on Saturday. The pair is pictured in the latest image, which was captured by photographer Josh Shinner early this year, with their three kids, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.
For William and Kate, the traditional black-and-white portrait style shot is a change. Usually, they post color, outdoor-taken pictures. The photo from this year, taken in Windsor, looks to have been taken in a studio. The five-member family relocated to Windsor last year from London, where they had previously lived.
The five members of the family all wear matching button-down shirts. Kate, Charlotte, and George all match in black pants, with Louis even sporting shorts! William, George, and Louis wear jeans. Canvas sneakers are also a unifying theme for Charlotte and her younger brother Louis. Kate and William both wrap an arm around their sons, while Charlotte, seated in a chair, takes center stage.
William and Kate had a noteworthy year as they continued to acclimate to their enhanced royal obligations as the Prince and Princess of Wales. When William bowed before his father to show respect after King Charles was crowned, it highlighted his crucial position in the line of succession.
