Tiger Woods’s son and daughter accompany him to the PNC Championship: “There Was Nothing More Exceptional”
On Saturday, December 16, Tiger Woods competed in the 2023 PNC Championship in Orlando, Florida, and brought his children along for the ride. A picture of the 16-year-old helping her father choose a club was posted on the official PGA Tour Instagram account with the caption, “For the first time, Sam Woods is caddying for her father today ❤️.”
Charlie, the 14-year-old son, was playing alongside his father for the third consecutive year in the meantime. Pro golfers can play with a family member at the PNC Championship, formerly known as the Father/Son Tournament. For the first time in the game, Woods’ eldest daughter has made an appearance.
At the game, Wood told reporters, “Sam was fantastic,” according to CBS Sports. “She’s never done this before, so it couldn’t have been more special for all of us,” He then on, “It couldn’t have been more special for me to have both of my kids inside the ropes like this and participating and playing and being part of the game of golf like this, and I know that we do this at home a lot, needle each other and have a great time.” But participating in a competition like this made it much more memorable.
