In honor of the album’s 20th anniversary, The Killers will do a full runthrough of Hot Fuss at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum in their native Las Vegas. There are eight nights reserved from August 14 to August 30. Sales of tickets begin on January 27. The band’s four members—drummer Ronnie Vannucci Jr., bassist Mark Stoermer, guitarist Dave Keuning, and singer Brandon Flowers—will all play live. This is unusual considering Keuning left the group between 2017 and 2020 to spend more time with his family, while Stoermer stopped touring with the group in 2016 owing to hearing problems and road burnout.

In 2021, Keuning said to Rolling Stone, “Nobody is going to sympathize with me, but physically and mentally, I could not go to the airport and devote myself to two more years of being away.” I was unable to complete it. I was losing my mind.

Later that year, Keuning joined the group again, but he hasn’t been seen on a few recent tours. When he’s not there, lead guitarist Ted Sablay fills in as rhythm guitarist. While Keuning did not play on 2020’s Imploding The Mirage and Stormer did not take part in the sessions for 2021’s Pressure Machine, they remained official members of the group during their hiatuses from touring.
