According to reports, King Charles III will work from home while recovering from an enlarged prostate procedure.
While recovering, King Charles III is going back to his responsibilities as a member of the royal family who works from home.
“We appreciate all of the well wishes you have sent while The King is in the hospital,” the royal family posted on Monday, January 29 via X. “His Majesty is thrilled that public health awareness has increased as a result of his diagnosis.” Charles, 75, was let go from The London Clinic on Monday, Entertainment Tonight reported. The site also stated that Charles intends to manage paperwork from home while recovering, even though he’ll be taking a break from public appearances.
On January 17, Charles was to have “treatment for an enlarged prostate,” according to a statement from Buckingham Palace. (Pink Palace disclosed that Princess Kate Middleton underwent a “planned” stomach operation on the same day.) The first statement said that Charles’s illness was benign and that he would be attending the hospital next week for a remedial surgery. The palace also stated that Charles’s “public engagements will be postponed for a short period of recuperation.”
Charles came at The London Clinic early on Friday, January 26, in preparation for his treatment. “The King was admitted to a London hospital this morning for scheduled treatment,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read at the time to the British publication The Telegraph. “His Majesty is happy to hear that his diagnosis is raising public health awareness and would like to thank everyone who has sent well wishes over the past week.”
